Happy Birthday Operation Tackle That Bead Stash!

The OTTBS blog is six years old today and so to celebrate I thought I would post a free tutorial! This circular brick stitch pendant is perfect for using up those leftover beads as you only need small amounts of each. And as you know, we at OTTBS are all about the stashbusting! I hope you enjoy it and have fun choosing different colours (Hint: it would look pretty good in this month's colour scheme) ;)

The March Challenge

Welcome to the March challenge! This month we would like you to create something in PURPLE, GREEN and GOLD.

Any shades of greens and purples are accepted, and your golds can be metallic, gold coloured or golden shades of yellow.

THE PRIZE:

HOW TO ENTER:

Simply email a photograph of your entry to Liz at ottbs@live.com. The challenge runs until Midnight in your own time zone on Thursday the 31st of March and the winner is drawn and announced the following day. The challenge is open to beaders worldwide.


RULES & OTHER INFORMATION:

• Entries must have been started on or after March 1st 2016.
• You can make any item, it does not need to be jewellery.
• You can use any craft technique but it must include beads.
• You must use all of the colours stated, no additional colours are to be used.
• Findings are exempt from the colour challenge.
• Your entry must be a finished piece.
• If your entry isn't your own design you must credit the original designer.
• The photo above is for decorative purposes only, please refer to the text below it for details on the colours allowed in this challenge.

The February Challenge Reveal

Huge thanks to everyone who participated in our February challenge where the theme was Hollywood Glamour. We received so many glamorous entries! The winner of the prize draw is announced at the bottom of this post but do take a look at all the gorgeousness as you scroll down.
