April Moodboard

Welcome to the April Moodboard! This month I've chosen one of my all-time favourite colours schemes - black, white and red. But to give you several options you can either use all three colours or use just two of your choosing...black & white, black & red or red & white. And as always there are plenty of shapes, patterns and textures to inspire you...

Clockwise from top-left: Peppermint Dream Ornament, I have a bag that's cool, Diamond Wall Pattern, Swap packages.

You can email your photographs to me at thecrimsonmoon7@gmail.com or alternatively you can add them to our Flickr group pool (link is on the sidebar).

The deadline for entries is April 30th and as usual a prize will be awarded to one of our lucky entrants chosen at random! Sarah is donating the prize this month and it's a kit to make her gorgeous Spring Blossom pendant...

We're looking forward to seeing what you all make!

Hehehe, we must be on the same wavelength. I finished a black and red flower like the one I made for last month's moodboard just this morning. I'll have to hope I've got enough of the beads left to make something else!

Oh, I just remembered, new colours, those are fantastic as always!:-) But thank you Liz for saying I can do red and black, I think it's what I need now. I might be brave and beadweave one of the projects I've been collecting beadies for!

I've got a commission for something in exactly these colours :) two birds, one stone! awesome :D and am quite glad I didn't enter last month as I'd have ended up having two month's entries the same - kismet! :D

Hmmm, I might actually get around to joining in this time. I have some pieces of jewellery from my mum which I plan to 'upcycle', and one of them has red beads with black chain....
